Living Hope Homeschool Co-op Open House

We are beginning a new homeschool community! Our goal is to provide our children with cooperative learning experiences. We want to give them the joy of learning within a community! We are simply two moms looking to build a Christian learning community. Joanna has been a public school teacher for 12 years and Daniela has been a homeschool mom for 5 years. We believe this group will become a great blessing for many families! Check us out with no obligation and spend one day with us! We meet from 10-2 every Thursday! (see calendar attached) Our Open House is Thursday, July 29 at 5:30 pm. Come check us out! What will a typical day at our co-op look like? We will begin with an assembly where we will pray, say the pledge of Allegiance, and have a student each day who wants to share a short devotion! Our first two classes will be history-science-engineering where we will learn about major inventions that changed the world. We will discover how one invention leads to the next! Then the students will create their own inventions! These will be presented in an assembly for all to learn from and enjoy the kids’ ideas! Our other class will be art history with art projects to try out different styles! Daniela and I are very hopeful to create a laid-back, encouraging community of homeschool families! We have full support of an amazing church and will be meeting in the beautiful church buildings of Mooresville AR Presbyterian near downtown Mooresville! The church is located at 659 Carpenter Drive, 28115. Come and see if this group is right for you! We ask that all homeschool parents remain and assist in the learning day! (This is not a drop-off situation:) The cost is $100 per family for the first 14 weeks.
